Chatrwittya School was founded by Mrs. Wanwipa Rosjan in 1980, as a kindergarten school. At the beginning of the first year, Chatrwittya School has total of 27 students, by the end of the year total number of students had increased to 97. In 1983 the students parents asked Chatrawittaya School to start a first grade.
 

Finally in 1985 Chatrwittaya School opened its first grade class, with 66 students attending. The teachers and administrative staff gave their best, resulting in the Thailand Education Board giving an “Outstanding Award” to the school. In the same year Chatrwittaya School also received the highest award of “Most Outstanding School” from His Majesty the King Rama the Ninth

American and European teachers have been employed since 1980. Chatrwittaya School is 1 of 10 schools to be picked to try out new teaching programmes which use English as a teaching tool. On June 3rd 1996 Chatrwittya School created the “Chatrwittaya Bilingual Curriculum” or “CBC” class.

 
The teachers and administrative team gave their best for the Chatrwittaya School students. It paid off when in November 25th 1989 Chatrwittaya School received an 'Outstanding Award' from the Thailand Education Board.
 
From 1986 Chatrwittya School created AM. / PM. (Thai class in the morning / English in the afternoon) This was finally approved by the Thai Ministry of Education in 1997 as the 'Chatrwittaya Bi-lingual Curriculum' (CBC).
