Finally in 1985 Chatrwittaya School opened its first grade class, with 66 students attending. The teachers and administrative staff gave their best, resulting in the Thailand Education Board giving an “Outstanding Award” to the school. In the same year Chatrwittaya School also received the highest award of “Most Outstanding School” from His Majesty the King Rama the Ninth
American and European teachers have been employed since 1980. Chatrwittaya School is 1 of 10 schools to be picked to try out new teaching programmes which use English as a teaching tool. On June 3rd 1996 Chatrwittya School created the “Chatrwittaya Bilingual Curriculum” or “CBC” class. |
